It happens right under your nose… Like I said, dealing with a thief is a serious matter… because a thief strikes right under your nose, when you least expect it. The thief steals our influence of God by having us focus on the weakness in the church and that weakness is hypocrisy.
It happens right under your nose…
Like I said, dealing with a thief is a serious matter…
because a thief strikes right under your nose, when you least expect it.
The thief steals our influence of God by having us focus on the weakness in the church and that weakness is hypocrisy.
The church is two faced. They speak love yet go on backbiting. They speak forgiveness yet wallow in bitterness and shame.
The thief make us believe that the church is broken and an unauthentic.
The thief obscures the message that God is a perfect being who would never allow such imperfection in his own church.
The thief steals our influence of God by having us believe that the church is a source of reform…
a place to improve, a place to refresh our current life…
instead of a place to exchange our old life for the new life that Jesus came to give us.
The thief steals our influence of God…
by making us believe that we are being pressured to accept Christ in our lives when the word is being shared.
He steals influence from us…
by making us feel that we have to make an instantaneous decision to accepting Christ.
Instead of us understanding and realizing that we will be converted through hearing the word of God with our faith.
The thief steals our influence of God by exploiting our feelings of fear and inferiority.
He wants us to believe that we are not worthy to be in the kingdom of God so that we don’t even believe in the miraculous work that was done on the cross for us through Christ.
Because we don’t believe…
in the miraculous,
completed work that was done on the cross,
we find ourselves full of self evaluation, & self inspection which is always followed by self condemnation.
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus Romans 8:1
And you wonder why you keep condemning yourself, condemning the things you do?
Because the thief steals the influence of God from you.
Once again the thief comes to steal kill and destroy. I’m just getting started, this is only one (1) of six (6) things the thief steals from you.
Stay with me as I dive deep!
